Lesson Learned

Like my previous post says, I started a new adventure this year, and it has proven to be a life lesson for myself.  I have never been good at losing, and it was proven last night.  It is SO hard to lose when you aren't in the game.  I found myself really frustrated because I couldn't inspire or motivate them.  I learned a lot about having to be the bigger person and teach them in their moments of frustrations.  Today at practice was a great change from yesterday's game and it's going to be a great season.  In one day I was able to grow as a person and as a first year coach!

Lovely Ladies

I assumed a new role this year as the head coach of our girls junior high volleyball program.  I wasn't sure if it was the right decision for me, but I started with the Intramural program which made the transition into the regular season a breeze.  I've really enjoyed the beginning of the season so far, and we have our first scrimmage tomorrow, which I'm really excited about.  Here are the girls, which is a big bunch, but I wouldn't trade them for anything!!

Favorite

Yesterday, we spent the afternoon at a 1st Birthday Party for one of my favorite little guys.  I just wanted to take a minute and share my favorite picture from the day!
