A Long Time Coming

I have been asking for shelves in my garage since we moved in, I am not even exaggerating!! I was finally able to nail down my Dad and Jason's schedules over Easter break to create what have been the best project ever. If I ever am missing, I am in the garage staring at the now almost fully organized front wall of shelves. Between the color-coded Gatorades and the bins with laminated labels, it is definitely a work in progress, but I am absolutely in love.

Here are the pictures as the weekend progressed

End of Day 1

End of Day 2

Starting to fill the shelves with the bins we had

With labels and shelves being filled in.  Still some bins to switch out and some to designate since they are just empty.

The Gatorade Shelf (notice the color coding by my OCD self)

Food shelves

I cannot thank my Dad and Jason enough for completing this project with me, and allowing me to help. I even put a nail into the ground with a 22 caliber something or other, and MAN was that the loudest sound ever!

But it was WELL worth it!! Still have to get some more bins, transfer some into matching ones, and fill the empty ones, but you get the point :)

So Sad

Just wanted to ask for some extra prayers for some friends tonight as I learned their puppy, Goldie was hit by a school bus yesterday and passed away :-(

I got to play with her at baseball games all summer last year, and will greatly miss her this summer!  She was such a cute puppy and I can't stop thinking about her!!!

First Wreath

My computer is not very reliable, which is where all my pictures are, so the Top 5 Posts will continue, I just won't be solely doing them, since I have other things to share lately.

Today is the last day of my Spring vacation for Easter, and it has been very much appreciated.  We spent all weekend building shelves in the garage.  My Dad, Jason, and my brother all helped and everyone worked their butts off.  One more trip to Lowes tonight, and then the garage will be show ready, I promise!!

I took a trip to Target today, and all the Easter goodies were half off, so I thought I'd attempt a wreath I had seen floating around Pinterest.  The whole project cost me under $10 and it looks great from afar!  Of course, the perfectionist in me can see some things I would change for next time, but I'm very proud for the first time around!!!

Happy Easter, and happy first wreath being a success!! :-)
