Sixteen Months

Bennett's Likes: Stairs, black olives, his dessert of an Oreo after dinner (you should see the way he can split those things!), being chased, finding people's bellies, trucks and cars, listening for the UPS/FedEx/Mail Truck, Peek-a-boo Barn, giving kisses, blowing kisses and waving

Bennett's Dislikes: Coming upstairs from the basement (he hasn't been able to go down much since we're getting it worked on) or when you bring him inside

Not So Sure About: Baths- pretty hit or miss!

Clothing Size: 18 Months, almost into 24 month sleepers
Diaper Size: Size 4 during the day, 5 at night
Eating Habits: He loves food and eats anything we give him. He's been into pasta lately
Sleep: He sleeps about 8:30-8
Accomplishments: He became a big brother a few months ago, but he found out he's going to have a BROTHER this month, started making animal noises like "woof woof" and "moo"

Fifteen Months

Bennett's Likes: Climbing the stairs if we don't have the gate up, saying "noooo" when he's doing something he shouldn't be doing, bananas, still loves "ucks," talking to Siri, taking walks in his stroller or wagon, drawing with his easel and color wonder markers, running between the bedrooms upstairs wanting to be chased

Bennett's Dislikes: Coming inside when he's outside

Not So Sure About: Baths... they've become hit or miss

Weight: 24 pounds 11.8 ounces
Length: 31 3/4 inches
Clothing Size: 18 Months
Diaper Size: Size 4 during the day, 5 at night
Eating Habits: Breakfast is usually a banana, cheerios, mini pancakes and sausage.  Lunch is chicken, fruit and a cheese stick. Dinner is usually what we are having with an added veggie or fruit if he didn't have one at lunch.  He really loves "nacks" though
Sleep: He sleeps from 8:30-8:30 most nights unless he gets up to go to Aunt Lee Lee's
Accomplishments: Grabbing your hand and walking you somewhere if he needs help getting there, says "nana" for banana, Mama, Da for Dada, Gigi, Jeff, Uck for truck, nack for snack, more, "Chssse" for Chase, "Dais" for Daisy... although we haven't heard that one much anymore :(

Fourteen Months

Bennett's Likes: WALKING!!!, Saying "no" to answer any question, giving kisses, taking an object from one person to another when asked, drinking Mommy or Daddy's drinks and saying "mmmmm," baths, his lawn mower, Chase and Daisy- he screams with excitement when the come in the room, sitting on the tractor at baseball

Bennett's Dislikes: Coming inside when he's been outside

Not So Sure About: A few people

Eating Habits: Still a champ for breakfast, loves chicken and cheese sticks with fruit for lunch, and eats what we eat for dinner mostly

Accomplishments: He walks now!!! (as of August 22)  He also runs, haha.  He is starting to remember which books have "ucks" in them and flips the pages looking for them

Thirteen Months

Bennett's Likes: Scrunching up his face when smiling, saying "psss psss psss" to Chase and Daisy, walking while holding on to one finger, rubbing his face onto blankets, ice cream, running while pushing his Lion Walker, pushing anything that moves as a walker

Bennett's Dislikes: Being on an airplane

Not So Sure About: Still won't sit still for pictures

Eating Habits: Breakfast is still the same- 5 mini pancakes, 2 turkey sausage links and a banana (or any other fruit) most mornings, he grazes more for lunch and dinner.  He absolutely LOVES pizza, and he will eat any snack we give him.  Lately, he's into Mommy's Fruit Smoothies in the morning
Sleep: He sleeps from 8:30-8:30 most nights
Accomplishments: Says"uck" for every truck that he sees (also includes cars and SUVs at this point), knows where his nose and tongue are

Bennett took his first plane ride on a trip to Aruba for a vacation.  Other than the plane (hard to keep a one year old content for over five hours) he had a great time!! Here are some pictures from the trip!

 

Twelve Months- One Year

Bennett's Likes: Being a ham, watching cars drive by, dancing to Bubble Guppies, walks, divebombing Chase

Bennett's Dislikes: Being told no, not being able to go up the stairs

Not So Sure About: Pictures... he's over them already (I'm in trouble)

Weight: He was 23 pounds and 7.6 ounces at the Doctors
Length: He was 31 and 1/4 inches long
Clothing Size: 12 Months
Diaper Size: Size 3 during the day, 4 at night
Eating Habits: He's definitely a breakfast eater- 5 mini pancakes, 2 turkey sausage links and a banana most mornings, he likes food pouches occasionally but no more baby food.  He likes to eat what we're eating
Sleep: He sleeps from 8:30-8ish
Accomplishments: Says mama, dada, no, still walking along the couch, pointing and grunting at thing

Eleven Months

Bennett's Likes: Food for sure, Daddy's baseball games, Bananas, Walks in his stroller, Sand at the beach, The Waves (liked those too much), Books, His Camelbak water bottle, Loveys with silk edges, Music, Water Table, Mimicking People's Laughs

Bennett's Dislikes: When other people eat or drink in front of him

Not So Sure About: Strangers, when to be scared like other people are, Crawling in shorts

Weight: We measured 25 pounds
Length: Will measure when we get a chance
Clothing Size: We made the switch to mostly 12 month clothing now
Diaper Size: Size 3
Eating Habits: He has a bottle in the morning and night but eats meals and snacks throughout the day. He LOVES breakfast, it is his favorite
Sleep: Still sleeps around 8:30-8/9 depending on the morning
Accomplishments: Made an elephant sound and lifted his arm like a trunk, says "mo" for more, clicks his tongue to mimic others, walking with his walker, recognizing people and getting excited when they come, points at what he wants, blows kisses the entire way now, gives open mouth kisses, first beach trip

Ten Months

 

Bennett's Likes: His play table, the sit-to-stand walker, giving kisses, "so big," walks in the stroller, going to Daddy's baseball games, feeding himself finger foods, looking out the living room window, ceiling fans again

Bennett's Dislikes: Not being able to climb the stairs, running out of food

Not So Sure About: Dogs- Likes some, not others 

Weight: We measured back up to 22 pounds, he lost some when he was sick
Length: --  inches
Clothing Size: Still in 6-9 month clothes, we will make the switch to 9-12 over the weekend, and 12 month sleepers
Diaper Size: Size 3
Eating Habits: He is a foodie.  He has a 5 ounce bottle in the morning, yogurt and/or a banana for breakfast, lunch is a fruit, bottle sometime before lunch or after a nap, dinner is a veggie and meat and anything cut up that we give him.  He finishes the day off with a 7 ounce bottle still
Sleep: He sleeps from around 9 pm to 8 am most days, but lately he must be in a growth spurt because today he took a 5 hour nap and the other morning he slept until 10 am
Accomplishments: We are up to five teeth (two on the bottom and three on the top), gives kisses (open mouth), does "so big," eating big people food, standing along the couch and moving from one part to another, waves bye bye, and is starting to make the motion to blow kisses

Nine Months

Bennett's Likes: His Tula, crawling after Chase, bananas, moving from toy to toy, walking, bathtime, foam letters that go in the bath (those like to make an appearance at any time of day), bath books, Mommy reading books before bed- current favorites are Pajama Time, Goodnight Moon and Five Little Monkeys

Bennett's Dislikes: The word "no" ;-), not being able to move as quickly as he wants, laying on his back

Not So Sure About: The vacuum

Weight: 22 pounds 8 ounces
Length: 30 inches
Clothing Size: 6-9 month clothes, and just ordered 12 month sleepers (still the same as last month)
Diaper Size: Officially in 3's
Eating Habits: He certainly loves his food! He's been getting 3 five ounce bottles, yogurt for breakfast, a fruit for lunch, a veggie and oatmeal for dinner and big bottle (7 ounces) before bed.  He loves Puffs, yogurt melts and crunchies.  He also has tried a few foods cut up in very small pieces, Turkey on Easter was a big hit!
Sleep: He sleeps from around 9-9:30 pm to 8 am
Accomplishments: Third tooth has been pushing through (he now has 2 on the bottom and this one is on the top), waves bye bye, has mastered the army crawl and now real crawling, stands at his toys that are tall, plays peek-a-boo himself, walks while holding hands

Eight Months

Bennett's Likes: His pet kitties, scooting all over the place on his belly, Puffs, Yogurt Melts, talking and being noisy, lighting up when someone walks into the room, looking at people's pictures on the phone when they call, Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood

Bennett's Dislikes: Getting things taken away from him, barking dogs sometimes

Not So Sure About: Still not sure about these teeth

Eating Habits: Bennett is definitely a foodie like his Daddy.  He's been 3-4 five ounce bottles, a fruit for lunch, a veggie and oatmeal for dinner and big bottle (7 ounces) before bed.  He loves Puffs and recently tried yogurt melts and likes those too
Sleep: Still sleeping from around 9-9:30 pm to 7 am
Accomplishments: Got his second tooth on the bottom, we believe he's working on a top tooth, says "uh" as uh oh when something is dropped, putting his pacifier in his mouth by himself

Seven Months

 

Bennett's Likes: Giggle box, pat-pat-ing things, chewing on anything and everything, still loves I'm a Little Teapot, making babbling noises with his mouth, fake coughing, his exersaucer, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, rolling all over the place

Bennett's Dislikes: The time it takes to switch between food, oatmeal, and bottle.  He also doesn't like the speed at which we can get the spoon refilled and back to his mouth... little chunk-a-monk :-), when we go out of eyesight and he thinks he's alone

Not So Sure About: This whole teeth thing ;-)

Eating Habits: Bennett is still eating 5 ounces during the day, 7 ounces at night. He's also eating food now!  He's tried peas, green beans, squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, apples, peaches and the new one now is pears
Sleep: Sleeping from around 9-9:30 pm to 7 am
Accomplishments: Got his first tooth!!!, Babbling "Mamama" and "Dadada," is through all of the veggies and just started his last fruit, rolls all around his changing table and the floor if we let him, getting up on his hands and knees (crawling will come anytime now I bet!!)

Six Months

 
 

Bennett's Likes: Daddy makes me giggle all the time, grabbing faces, holding his cheek up against our cheeks, sucking in his bottom lip, all of his new Christmas toys, fuzzy sleepers, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, putting his hands in his mouth ALL the time, constantly blowing raspberries, being a teapot in the "I'm A Little Teapot" song

Bennett's Dislikes: The cold lasted way too long, our poor little sicky!

Not So Sure About: Restaurants- sometimes he likes to sleep through them, and sometimes he liked to be super active and nosey

Weight: Will update after our appointment on 1/19

Clothing Size: 3-6 Months still, will make the switch soon to 6-9 month clothes, but we did move to 9 month sleepers
Diaper Size: Still in 2s
Eating Habits: Bennett is eating 5 ounces during the day, 7 ounces at night
Sleep: With his cold, he was waking up again during the night, poor baby!  He's back to sleeping through the night most nights, and if he does wake up, his paci does the trick
Accomplishments: Twisting clicky toys, started oatmeal, and started veggies (peas, green beans and squash so far), rolls both ways, had his first Christmas, discovered his kitty cats and the dogs at Aunt Lee Lee's
