Bennett- Twenty-Eight Months

Bennett's Likes: He loves trucks-- all things trucks.  He even watches Mighty Machines on Netflix and can get to it by himself, singing karaoke and dancing to music

Bennett's Dislikes: When we say no or turn off something he is watching

Carson- Seven Months

Carson's Likes: He is starting to be very mobile, which is good for him (but bad for Bennett), taking baths with his brother

Not So Sure About: How he feels about the wait time between bites of baby food

Sleep: Sleep is not his thing.  Wakeups range from 1-4 times a night :(
Accomplishments: He started army crawling the day before he turned 7 months

Carson- Six Months

Carson's Likes: He started babbling, smiles when you walk in the room, also cries when you leave, rolls over like a champ

Not So Sure About: Why these people keep making him sleep!

Weight: 18 pounds 2.2 ounces at the Doctors
Length: 27 inches at the Doctors
Clothing Size: 3-6 months, getting ready to switch soon!
Diaper Size: Size 2 Swaddlers during the day, sleeping in 2 Baby Drys
Eating Habits: Thinks oatmeal is pretty cool!  Still only takes bottles when Mommy is at work, prefers her instead
Sleep: Still doesn't like sleeping.  He wakes up 2-3 times a night
Accomplishments: He started eating oatmeal and will be starting with veggies here soon. Cut his first (and second) teeth!!

Bennett- Twenty Seven Months

Bennett's Likes: His new "cheese" face, trucks, driving his car from Uncle Eric, riding his Cars bike, eating hummus and blue corn chips, singing and dancing

Bennett's Dislikes: Sharing!!!

Not So Sure About: The vacuum

Carson- Five Months

Carson's Likes: His big brother, he loves watching him, his lovey, the musical bunny that Brie got him, the froggy seat, blankets, funny faces and sounds, grabbing toys and anything you have in your hand

Not So Sure About: When everyone eats dinner and he's within eyesight of Mommy

Eating Habits: He loves eating from Mommy much more than bottles, but he has finally stopped fighting bottles for Gigi and Meme when they are watching him. He is eating 4 ounce bottles while we are at work, and he eats every 2-3 hours otherwise
Sleep: Sleeping in his crib with the insert under the sheets, waking between 2-3 times a night
Accomplishments: He loves giggling and being tickled, he smiles at you and coos as well as making sounds and blowing bubbles. He also is able to roll over!!

Bennett- Twenty Six Months

Bennett's Likes: Getting really good at playing games and puzzles on his Kindle Fire, lining his trucks up, bringing his trucks to the bathtub to get bubbles on them, watching "ball" with Da, cheese faces, his tricycle, snacking on anything, brushing his teeth, dessert

Bennett's Dislikes: Getting dressed, if things are floating in the bath water, getting his diaper changed

Not So Sure About: Sharing the attention with Bop sometimes

Eating Habits: Still loving Mommy's milk exclusively
Sleep: Sleeping in his crib with the insert under the sheets, but he's still not sleeping :(  Mommy is waking 3-4 times a night which is rooooouuuugh!!!
Accomplishments: He is very happy and smiley during the day, just trying to work on the sleeping thing ;)

Bennett- Twenty-five Months

 
Bennett's Likes: Trucks, Chase, playing in the big boxes from Mommy's deliveries, dirt, his Cars bike, pretending trucks (or other things) are sleeping by pretend snoring, going to Daddy's ball

Bennett's Dislikes: Back to not liking the vacuum, being told no

Eating Habits: Not really into eating lately.  You can always count on chicken fingers and french fries, yogurt, waffles and cereal
Sleep: He is my constant reassurance that at least ONE of my kids sleeps.  He's such a good sleeper and I'm so thankful I can always count on that!
Accomplishments: He is embracing his big brother role and loves whispering "hiiii Bop" to Carson.  He also must give both he and I a kiss goodnight before naps and bedtime. His vocabulary is increasing as well.  He is really good at identifying colors when you ask which is which.  If you ask him to say them, they're all "bluuuuue"

Carson- Three Months

Carson's Likes: Mommy's milk, loveys, naps, baby talk, tickling his belly and neck, his hands, being outside
                                 
Carson's Dislikes: Getting his fingernails cut, long trips in the car, Bennett being loud

Not So Sure About: Bottles

Weight: We'd guess 14 pounds
Length: 24 inches when at Bennett's appointment (the nurse showed Bennett what she was going to do by using Carson)
Clothing Size: Almost out of 0-3 months (or 3 months Carters)
Diaper Size: Size 1
Eating Habits: Still loving Mommy's milk exclusively
Sleep: Waking 2-3 times a night, Mommy is tiiiiired. Sleeping in the rock and play in his own room
Accomplishments: He loves smiling and laughing and is super ticklish

Bennett- 2 Years

Bennett's Likes: Mighty Machines, PAW Patrol, trucks, fruit, being outside, bubble baths, the pool,   music and dancing, fake sleeping, giving hugs and kisses, going to see Da at "ball," jumping in on his brother's weekly pictures

Not So Sure About: Strangers or people he hasn't seen in awhile

Diaper Size: Still in size 4 Swaddlers during the day, size 5 baby dry at night. We just ran out of 4s, so he is starting 5 Swaddlers
Eating Habits: Loves fruit still, other foods are so hit or miss right now
Sleep: Usually sleeps from about 9:30 until 8:00/9:00 (Baseball keeps him up late)
Accomplishments: He celebrated his second birthday!! Loves being a big brother (most times). His words: Pop, Gigi, Meme, Drrrrrist, ball, mow, Ryder, Chase, Bop (Carson), boat, bubbles

Carson- Two Months

Carson's Likes: Cuddling, ceiling fans, baths, the rattles on his carseat, just started the piano mat

Not So Sure About: When Bennett gets loud all of the sudden out of nowhere

Weight: 12 lbs even at the Doctors
Length: 22 and 3/4 inches
Clothing Size: Switched to 0-3 months (or 3 months Carters)
Diaper Size: Size 1
Eating Habits: Solely on Mommy's milk and is a very fast eater, it doesn't take him long to fill up!
Sleep: Waking 2-3 times a night. Mommy usually does the first wakeup, and then Daddy was giving him a bottle of pumped milk (which he isn't so sure about) so sometimes Mommy ends up feeding him then too (and the third time if there is one).  Still sleeping in the rock and play in our room.
Accomplishments: He is now cooing, smiling and kicking on the piano mat

Bennett- Twenty-Three Months

Bennett's Likes: PAW Patrol, bath crayons and bubbles, his lawn mower, trucks, ice cream (especially from the ice cream truck on Tuesday nights), walks, being scared by Daddy, wrestling with Daddy
          
Bennett's Dislikes: Being "done" eating and throwing his plate or food (maybe that's more of OUR dislike)

Not So Sure About: Now only likes garbage trucks from afar,

Eating Habits: Loves eating a strawberry waffle, fruit and sometimes turkey sausage for breakfast-- likes to eat snacks throughout the day, and his favorite is fruit
Sleep: Usually sleeps from about 9 until 8:00/9:00
Accomplishments: His new favorite word is "SSSIIIITTTT" I think he really likes bossing people around. He knows star as well, and just recently started saying tur-tle, and he's starting to add more names into the mix.  He loves saying "bubbles" when he goes to take a bath.

Carson- One Month

Carson's Likes: Being held, sleeping up on people's chests, eating, being swaddled with his arms out, laying on your legs when they're propped up, ceiling fans, lights
                                 
Carson's Dislikes: Being naked when getting changed

Not So Sure About: Bathtime

Weight: 10 lbs 5 ounces (he was 7 lbs 6 ounces at his one week checkup and born at 7 lbs 12.7 ounces)
Length: 21.5 inches (he was 21 inches at birth)
Clothing Size: All Newborn
Diaper Size: Newborn
Eating Habits: He is a milk monster-- he will eat every second of the day if I let him.  We are working on the 2 hour time periods between feedings
Sleep: He is not the best sleeper (understandably).  He usually eats at 11, 2, 5 and then cluster feeds in the morning.  Okay for now, but not when I go back to work :\
Accomplishments: Holds his head up like a champ (doctor says he shouldn't be this good until 2 months), has a great latch, puts up with his big brother well so far!

One Month Comparison

We are working on getting Carson's' first month blog post up (need to take the pictures still) but to hold you over, here are the first four week pictures.  For fun, I included Bennett's first four weeks as well!  To me, they look pretty different, but Jason swears that they look very similar.  What do you think?

Twenty Two Months

Bennett's Likes: Watermelon, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, puzzles on the tablet or Mommy's iPad, walks, going to the park, color water (Mio in his water), sitting at the table, his brother (most times)
                                 
Bennett's Dislikes: The bath tub-- he pooped in it twice and now is terrified of taking a bath, watching certain iMovies that I've made (if the background music is too "sad" he cries), sitting in his highchair

Not So Sure About: Getting his diaper changed, when he poops in his diaper, he grabs it to tell you that he needs changed (even though he doesn't want to be changed),

Weight: We think he's between 27-29 pounds, the scale hasn't been consistent!

Diaper Size: Still in size 4 Swaddlers during the day, size 5 baby dry at night
Eating Habits: He isn't eating too much lately-- he will ALWAYS eat fruit, but isn't interested in much other food
Sleep: He has been sleeping in since I'm on maternity leave-- he usually sleeps 9-9 now
Accomplishments: He loves being a big brother, if Carson cries, he brings him a pacifier, giving kisses, says mail, more please, blue and make a siren sound for a fire truck, counting by making sounds in the tone of 1-2-3

Twenty One Months

Bennett's Likes: Holding his little brother (it's so cute when he asks to hold him), saying "oooooh toodles" when watching MMC, fruit, playing in the basement, playing outside on his little jungle gym, going to the park, walks, helping Daddy in the yard
 
Bennett's Dislikes: Messes, coming inside

Not So Sure About: The hospital-- he didn't like being confined to one room

Accomplishments: He is adding more words to his vocabulary, he became a big brother and is the SWEETEST with Carson!!!

Twenty Months

Bennett's Likes: Being outside and going to the park (we have learned we have to spell that one), his Grandpa, any fruit, bath time, putting color tablets into his bath water, Blender bottles, dancing to music, giving raspberries to his brother on my belly

Bennett's Dislikes: Messes-- if he leaves crumbs somewhere, he will walk you to the dust buster to get it to clean it up

Not So Sure About: The actual vacuum, unexpected noises, what to do around other kids in certain situations

Clothing Size: Switched him over to 24 month clothes, including 24 month jammies
Diaper Size: Still in size 4 Swaddlers during the day, size 5 baby dry at night
Eating Habits: His eating comes and goes, right now he's not too interested in meals.  Regardless, he still dumps onto the ground (unfortunately)
Sleep: He still sleeps about 8:30-8
Accomplishments: He is really starting to say words much better, Grandpa swears he said "asparagus"

Nineteen Months

Bennett's Likes: He is back to loving "aaaasssseeee" (Chase) and divebombing him-- poor Chase, stacking things and playing with his blocks, still has a love of trucks, playing hide and seek with Daddy, his teepee, shoes and other people's shoes, talking at you (in jibberish) complete with a pointing finger

Bennett's Dislikes: When he doesn't get his way, we see some pretty insane temper tantrums.  They don't happen very often, but he's perfecting them very well

Not So Sure About: Why Daddy and I keep putting our hands on my belly-- he doesn't quite understand that one.  He also doesn't understand why he can't lift everyone's shirts and look for their babies ;)  He also has a new found reservation with the vaccuum

Weight: He put himself on the scale this weekend and it read 27 pounds (not sure how accurate it is)

Clothing Size: Still 18 Month clothing, 24 month sleepers-- 18 month pants are getting a little short so we may switch over soon
Diaper Size: Still in size 4 Swaddlers during the day, size 5 baby dry at night
Eating Habits: He is back to loving breakfast, eats lots of snacks and is quite the fruit boy-- he'll eat it all
Sleep: He still sleeps about 8:30-8
Accomplishments: He really understands hide and seek now and can anticipate where his Daddy is, his dance moves have improved tremendously

Eighteen Months

Bennett's Likes: He has become quite the ham, he has a "cheese" face he does on his own, waving to people to get their attention, giving his brother kisses, the new under-cabinet lighting, point and "talking" at you

Bennett's Dislikes: Losing his basement play area when the basement flooded-- he just could not understand that he couldn't go downstairs.

Not So Sure About: The car and longer rides-- he does like when he can see and hear "ucks" out of the window

Weight: 26 pounds 4.6 ounces
Length: 33.5 inches
Clothing Size: 18 Month clothing, 24 month sleepers
Diaper Size: Size 4 Swaddlers during the day, size 5 baby dry at night
Eating Habits: He is quite the grazer and will eat his meals, but loves having "nacks" throughout the day too

Accomplishments: Shutting doors to rooms, opening the basement door by himself, puts lids on and off of bottles, drinking out of a big boy cup
