Central League

If you've followed my Facebook page, you would have seen that Jason's summer baseball team won the Central League Championship this year, which hasn't been done since the 1980's!

What's even cooler is that there wasn't a photographer at the game that night, so the local newspapers printed my pictures :-)

Happy Birthday!!

Happy Birthday to one of my favorite little guys!!  He turned the big SEVEN today, and for his birthday, he requested to go to a York Revolution game.  Yes, the same York Revolution that I posted about below.  The surprise for him was that I had gotten it arranged that not only would his name be up on the big screen for his birthday, but I was able to get it arranged that he got to throw out the FIRST PITCH!!

He also got to participate in the fruit race between innings, which he won!

Also, he got to stand on top of the dugout with Adam and another woman who was celebrating her birthday!

Revolution Game

Back in April, Jason was asked to play on a select team of the Central and Susquehanna League All-Stars who were picked to play against the York Revolution.  For those of you who don't know who the York Revolution are, they are an American professional baseball team that was brought to York a few years ago, so playing against them was a big honor!  I thought I would share some pictures from that day, Jason had a lot of fans there!!

Double Header

My days are SOOO off since school has let out.  Thursday was our first day off for summer, and we went to brunch and dropped my car off for an inspection and an oil change.  48 hours and $1200 later, I finally have my car back.

Yesterday I had to babysit at 6, so we spend the entire day cleaning... yes, the entire day!  It was nice to have a teammate, which cut down on our time.  All of the rooms (minus the bathrooms) are cleaned and organized.  The bathrooms will wait until Monday.

I am convinced that it is Sunday, so much that when I was on Facebook and someone wrote "Work on a Saturday?" that I almost corrected them.  Oops!  Today I will spend the day at two baseball games, one in about at hour at 11:00, and then the next one follow it about 1:30.
