29 Weeks

How far along?: 29 weeks
Baby's size: BK is the size of a butternut squash
Total weight gain/loss: 18.5 last time I checked
Stretch marks?: None thankfully
Sleep?: Can't get enough of it!  Can't wait until volleyball is over so I can nap!!!
Maternity clothes?: Still loving them even if the panel hurts sometimes
Best moment this week: I have to pick two.  First, on Friday, the start of 29 weeks, we went to the specialist to hear about my placenta and we got some amazing pictures in 3D!  He's so handsome already!

Also, we had our family Flashlight Easter Egg hunt at Aunt Lee Lee's and she made BK his own eggs complete with washcloths, pacifiers and wipes inside.  She's spoiling him already :-)
Worst Moment: My placenta only moved 1.5 cm of the 2.0 it needs to.  We will follow up at 34 weeks to see if it's moved.
Symptoms: I went to the chiropractor for my back and it made my back feel temporarily better but made my sport on my side hurt terribly.  I was in tears all night, so I think I'll just have to deal
Cravings?: Kit Kats lately (strange, they would have never been my choice before)
Miss Anything?: I needed a full serving of Spark, but I can only have 1/2 of one.
Movement: Jason is enjoying watching him move like crazy at night before bed
Anything making you queasy or sick?: The glucose test made me very sick.  Luckily, my Mom was able to talk me out of throwing it up!
Gender: B-O-Y!!!
What is baby up to?: From What to Expect When You're Expecting: "How big is your baby this week? He weighs nearly three pounds now and measures about 17 inches. Though he's getting pretty close to his birth length, he still has to chub out a bit. In fact, over the next 11 weeks, he'll more than double — or even come close to tripling — his weight. And as he grows and the room in your womb gets tighter, you'll be less likely to feel those big kicks and more likely to get poked by an elbow or jabbed by a knee."

  2. First off, thanks for sharing the progress of your pregnancy. I hope everything's going well. Anyway, Kit Kat is just so yummy. I can tell why you were specifically craving for it. I hope your back is feeling better, after visiting a chiropractor. Maybe regular visits will help. All the best! :)

  3. That is amazing progress! Though you might be more prone to back pain as time passes by and the baby continues to grow. That’s why it’s best for an expecting mother to undergo some kind of therapy, like chiro or yoga sessions, to help relieve back pain and muscle cramps. Anyway, I hope you didn’t have a hard time with your delivery. Take care!
